Overview

Global Search International, a division of Aspire Globally, is conducting a confidential executive search on behalf of a prestigious luxury resort in the Indian Ocean for an exceptional Resort Hotel Manager.

​

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to oversee the daily operation of a world-class luxury resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences whilst driving operational excellence across every department.

Working closely with the General Manager and Executive Committee, you will play a pivotal role in delivering commercial success, developing high-performing teams and maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Leading Luxury Resort Operations

As Resort Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the resort, ensuring every guest journey reflects the highest levels of personalised luxury service.

You will:

• Lead the daily operation of a luxury beachfront resort, ensuring every guest experience exceeds expectations.

• Drive operational excellence across Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Recreation, Spa and Guest Services.

• Inspire, mentor and develop Department Heads, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Champion personalised service, emotional guest engagement and operational consistency throughout the resort.

• Foster an environment where colleagues are empowered to deliver memorable luxury experiences.
   

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction whilst maintaining Forbes, LQA and internationally recognised luxury hospitality standards.

• Monitor operational performance through measurable KPIs, service audits and guest feedback.

• Work alongside the Executive Committee to achieve budgeted revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction targets.

• Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all operational departments.

• Support Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to maximise occupancy, guest loyalty and commercial performance.

• Lead operational planning for VIP arrivals, signature events and resort initiatives.

• Champion sustainability, innovation and continuous operational improvement.

• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, compliance and brand presentation.
   

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience within luxury hospitality, including significant leadership experience as a Hotel Manager, Resort Manager or Executive Assistant Manager.

• Proven success leading multiple operational departments within an internationally recognised luxury resort.

• Strong financial awareness with experience managing budgets, forecasting, payroll and departmental profitability.

• Demonstrated ability to improve guest satisfaction, employee engagement and operational performance.

• Exceptional leadership, coaching and communication skills with experience managing multicultural teams.

• Previous experience within Forbes Five-Star, Leading Hotels of the World, ultra-luxury resorts or internationally recognised luxury hospitality brands.

• A passion for developing people, creating exceptional guest experiences and delivering operational excellence.
